Welcome to the world Cash! Finally Cash was born on January 15, 2010 at 10:03 pm. He weighed 6 lbs 6.5 ounces and 20 inches long. He is doing great just a little jaundice that the doctors arent too concerned with, they told us just to sit him in front of a window that was letting in a lot of light. He is such a cutie pie and mine all mine! I love just snuggling with him and loving on him. He is already spoiled rotten and cant handle it if someone isnt holding him. He is breastfeeding well and gets better and better every day. He only wakes me up a couple times a night to feed, but he has been sleeping in between meals. He's only awake a small amount of time during the day. There have been a couple of times when he is a little fussy, but we can calm him down pretty well. I love being a mom and dont know how I am supposed to leave him in 6 weeks. I dont know how well that will go over, i wish I could just stay at home with him...but I enjoy eating and having a roof over my head so I guess I have to keep a job in order to pay the bills. I will update again soon.

Update

Well I guess I will update that on the vaginal exam yesterday the doctor said that my cervix was closed up tight. Sad days...I was hoping I was dilated a least a little. I know it doesnt mean much but I was still hoping. We go again on tuesday for another weekly check up. I know its not really a week but when you make appointments a week at a time you really dont have much of a choice when we can only take afternoon appointments. Good thing its exam week. Hopefully we will be even closer to bringing the little guy home. So excited and can't wait!

38 Weeks

Wow time has flown by. I can't believe he will be here so soon! I can't wait, but I also can because I know my life will change so much. I'm still planning for my classes next semester...I wish I had started earlier. I never knew it would take so long to plan. I guess I'm trying to make sure the Sub knows everything about my routine and I'm trying to give my kids as much dancing as possible and to do that I had to find videos to teach them choreography and technique. I've been reviewing videos the entire 2 weeks I was off and made lesson plans. Hopefully I will finish soon, because he can come at any time now. We have a doctors appointment tomorrow. They will begin checking me to see if I'm dialated any and to make sure Cash is ok in there. I think he is fine though because I still feel him move all the time. Todd wants the doctors to tell us we have to go to the hospital. But i doubt that will happen. I havent been having any contractions or pains. I am actually feeling really good. I can't do too much because I have a lot of body to move around now...but I can move just fine. I danced a little this week just to keep in shape a little. I'm hoping since I've been active my entire pregnancy that I will have an easy labor...but I'm not expecting it. Here are a few pictures and I will update tomorrow if there is any news.
