It's a Boy!

We went to the doctor today and it's a boy. Everything looks good but it took her a long time to find out what it was. He kept crossing his legs and moving around to weird positions but she finally found a wee wee. Todd is very happy because that is what he wanted...I just wanted it to be healthy. According to all the books he is supposed to weigh 7 ounces, but our big boy weighs 10 ounces. He looks really long on the ultrasound with big feet. We'll see about that later on though. I will upload this pictures soon so everyone can see him. If you want to see the video ask momma or daddy because they videotaped most of it.

Pregnant!

After our miscarriage in November we just decided we would get pregnant when God wanted us to. We tried once we were able to in February, but nothing. Then on my birthday (May 16) I thought maybe I was pregnant because my breasts were a little sore and I was just feeling funny. So I told Todd and he said to just go ahead and take a pregnancy test. I didn't want to because I didn't want to be disappointed if I wasn't. But I went ahead and took one and couldn't believe it when there were two lines. I told Todd and we were excited but we knew not to be too excited too soon. I had just missed my period, but the past month it had been a week and a half late so we didn't know for sure if we were pregnant. We went out to eat with Todd's parents that night for my birthday and decided we wouldn't tell anyone until the Doctor confirmed it. Well, the doctor didn't set up an appointment until we would be about 9 weeks pregnant which was June 18 (my brothers bday). I kept having breast soreness and I felt horrible. I was nauseous all the time and couldn't eat much. We went to the doctor and had the ultrasound and everything was great. The baby's heartbeat was 170 beats per minute, so we were finally able to be excited. We got some great pics of the baby, it already looks like Todd because of the big head!
